Are there any restrictions for a custom soap?
No. You may have any photo, logo, message or announcement you’d like. We do reserve the
right to refuse to process anything
offensive or illegal. Customers are responsible for having/obtaining permissions to reproduce all materials
copyrighted, trade marked, registered, etc.
How clear does the image I send have to be?
The better the image you begin with, the better image in the soap.
However, we understand that you may not always have the option of providing an excellent image (like for example a sepia photo of your great-grandparents that you want to use for your family reunion) so we will do our best to make your soap look great, but we can only work with what we are provided. Send the highest quality, focused, digital file that you can. Low quality, blurry images don't make the best soaps.
Can I send in an actual photo?
We prefer a digital image. Actual photos can get lost in the mail which is a problem if it's one-of-a-kind. Most photocopy and office supply stores can scan the image for you. Make sure to request the highest quality image.
Will the image I send look exactly the same in the soap?
Photos and images may need to be re-sized or cropped to fit properly into the bar of soap. Our goal is to make the prominent object look its best and we leave that to the discretion of the artist. Business cards, logos, messages, etc. will not be cropped, however the image may be re-sized in order for it to fit in its entirety. If there is something in the photo you specifically desire to show, make sure we know that at the time of your order.
Are my images sold to anyone else?
We will never sell your custom soaps to anyone else. However, we may choose to display your custom
designs on our website or in other marketing materials. If you do not want your design displayed let us know at the time of your order.
Can I have more than one image in the MyPictureSoap™?
t this time we offer one image per soap.
How long will the picture last?
The picture will last almost as long as the soap lasts. Eventually, the picture will simply disappear along with the soap.
What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of personal care products, we are unable to accept returns. If we made an error, we will work with you to rectify it. If for some reason you are displeased with your soaps, contact us immediately and we will work with you to resolve the matter.
My soap was clear, but became cloudy/fuzzy, what happened?
A characteristic of natural glycerin soap is that it attracts moisture; therefore at times it may appear “fuzzy” or “cloudy.” This is simply the moisture collected from the air. When wet, MyPictureSoap™ will become crystal clear and the image will 'pop'! It is best to use a soap dish that will allow the air to circulate and the soap to completely dry between uses.
What fragrances do you have?
At this time all of our soaps are unscented.
How can I pay for my order?
We accept Visa and MasterCard as well as personal checks or money orders. Our soaps are handmade to order so we cannot process your order until payment is made and funds have cleared. Orders paid by check or money order may be delayed.
NOTE ARIZONA RESIDENTS - We are required to collect 8% sales tax on Arizona orders.
How long does it take to get my soap?
We pride ourselves on normally completing & shipping orders within 10 days. Due to a large number of orders during holidays, we ask that you place your order 3 weeks before needed.
How much is shipping and handling?
Each order is shipped the most economical way and we charge you only the actual shipping cost with no additional handling charges. Generally we use USPS Priority Mail. UPS, FedEx and overnight shipping are also available at customer request.
Can you ship outside of the continental United States?
Yes, we can ship outside the continental US as well as international.
Why do you need my phone number and email address?
We may need to contact you by phone with questions or issues about your order. Occasionally we send out emails regarding promotions and announcements. We think spam belongs in a can, not your email, so you won't be getting any from us. And you easily unsubscribe.
What happens with my personal information?
We never sell, share, rent or trade your personal information and we don't make any portion of our customers' information available to any 3rd party person or organization unless required by law.
